  • Appointments & Outings: Providing safe accompaniment and reliable assistance to medical appointments, hair salons, or local social outings.

Respite & Family Support

Giving family caregivers peace of mind and a well-deserved break, knowing their loved one is in safe, trusted hands.

Respite Care: Dedicated, reliable coverage so primary family caregivers can rest, recharge, or attend to personal matters.

Medication Reminders: Providing gentle, routine prompts to ensure health and medication schedules are strictly followed.

🚨 Specialized & Urgent Support

Focused care tailored for specific recovery needs, milestones, or sudden schedule changes.

  • Post-Op Care: Providing dedicated, gentle support and assistance as your loved one recovers and regains their strength after surgery.
  • Postpartum Care: Providing gentle, nurturing support for new mothers and families adjusting to life at home with a newborn.
  • Short-Notice & Emergency Care: Available for unexpected situations, sudden changes in family schedules, or urgent caregiving needs when you need a trusted hand right away.

Hours of Operation

  • Weekdays: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (start time can be flexible as early as 8:30 am to 4:30pm)
  • Weekends: Available upon request (Flexible scheduling discussed individually to fit your family’s needs)

🕒 Care Scheduling & Minimums

  • Service Minimum: To ensure the highest quality of dedicated, focused attention, all scheduled visits require a minimum of 2 to 3 hours.

Service Rates & Investment

At Kindred Heart Care by Amanda, I provide premium, dedicated one-on-one attention tailored entirely to your loved one’s needs. Because of this high standard of personalized, independent care, my services are strictly private pay at this time.

Base Rate

  • Standard Care & Assistance: $28.00 / hour
    • Includes personal care, companionship, and standard household upkeep/cleaning.

Specialized Care & Situational Rates

  • Advanced Mobility Assistance: Rates vary slightly for care requiring the use of mechanical lifts or advanced transfer assistance.
  • Short-Notice Care: An additional fee may apply for last-minute or urgent scheduling requests.

Travel, Shopping & Transportation

  • Errands & Grocery Shopping: Base rate applies if running a single-store errand. Rates are adjusted accordingly if multiple store stops are required for your loved one’s specific needs.
  • Travel Costs: A standard travel/mileage fee is incorporated depending on the distance and location of care.
  • Client Transportation: Please note that client transportation in my personal vehicle is highly limited due to utilizing a truck for travel. However, I am fully available to coordinate, accompany, and assist clients using specialized transportation services or family vehicles.
